Wyre Forest Pickleball Coach and Play are Thursday evening sessions for beginners at Wyre Forest Leisure Centre in Kidderminster to introduce you to the game of Pickleball with a guided 'coach and play' session for 60 minutes. These sessions are NOT for accomplished Pickleball players. If you are an accomplished player I recommend you find other players and book a court together, unless you plan to become a u3a member and then you can play at those sessions during the daytime, details can be found via this link. From April 2024 onwards sessions will be in the afternoon at 3.30pm for 90 minutes.

The schedule for the 60 or 90 minutes will be as follows:

The cost will be £15.00 per person, which includes equipment and the cost of court hire.
Please note this is a non-refundable and non-transferable session, therefore if you need to cancel there won't be the option to provide a refund or move your payment to another date. In the event of instructor non-attendance a full refund is applicable.

In order for Coach and Play to go ahead, there needs to be a minimum of 4 paying partcipants for each session.
In the event of there not being enough participants, you will be offered a refund or the option of transferring to another date or you can upgrade to a one-to-one coaching session on the same date, at a cost of £30 per person (less any fees already paid).

It takes at least 2 coach and play sessions to get to grips with how to play and become familiar with the scoring system, so please either plan ahead and book two sessions or be ready to book a second one asap. They do get booked up fast, so there might be a long wait for your 2nd session. I have witnessed too many people wishing to play after just one session and they really struggle and it significantly slows down play for our other regular players. The sessions run roughly fortnightly, sometimes I add extra dates, just keep checking the calendar.

To book, please click on a date on the calendar, you can scroll to future months with the arrows <  > then select the box where it shows the time and how many spots are left and this will open up a registration/payment form. Unfortunately the form will only take 'one person" registration at a time, i.e. you can not register and pay for multiple people on a single registration form, please register each individual at a time.

If you can't see any spots available, please contact me as I may have had to close it because of low numbers.
